On-Site IICRC Training

Did you know that the Atex School of Cleaning and Restoration offers on-site IICRC training? Ideal for large groups, our two-day Carpet Cleaning and three-day Water or Fire Restoration programs bring the insight, expertise and hands-on experience to your own facilities.

As the only IICRC certified training school in Texas, we recognize that many of our students need to travel from the surrounding area — and sometimes even from out of state — for their certifications. Between the registration and exam fees, travel costs, lodgings, per diems and wages, the costs of training a large team can add up for employers.

Case in Point

One of our customers estimated they were spending about $1,000 per certification per employee. With 30 employees they needed to train a year, they were looking at spending around $30,000. By working with the Atex School of Cleaning and Restoration, they were able to save over $22,000 with our on-site training program. Learn more about our program offerings below.

Program Overview

A company purchases an entire two-day (Carpet Cleaning) or three-day (Water or Fire Restoration) IICRC certification class. The cost to you is $1,000 per day of instruction, plus reasonable travel expenses of the instructor, course manuals and shipping cost (average cost for a three-day course is about $4,300). Additionally, the sponsoring company provides student lunches, beverages and snacks, which should be no more than $10 per student, per day. Assuming you had 10 employees to train, the total cost would be about $500 per student, or half of what you would have spent sending them out of your market.

To offset your investment, the sponsoring company can sell seats to the class to virtually anyone else — other restorers in the area, insurance adjusters, construction companies, hygienist, potential clients, etc. Average charge per seat for a three-day course is $300 – $350. Some companies invite special guests, such as insurance adjusters or potential clients, to attend for free and consider this a marketing expense. The number of students in the CCT, WRT and SRT classes are unlimited, so the potential of turning this class into a profit center certainly exists.
