Delmhorst GB-1 Gypsum Sensor Blocks Electrode

Description

Blocks are made of gypsum and cast around two concentric, stainless steel electrodes. As soil dries out, the gypsum blocks lose water, increasing the electrical resistance in the electrodes, thus providing an indirect measurement of the soil’s moisture content. These are manufactured under controlled conditions to obtain a maximum degree of uniformity and fast response to soil moisture changes. The GB-1 measures 7/8 inch diameter x 1 1/8 inch height. Easy to install and especially suited for extensive sampling of soil at various depths.
